Hi guys,
I apologise if this has been asked before, I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for when snooping around.
When I built my PC back in 2013 I ended up buying RAM mainly because of the aesthetics (DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X - F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM) I brought 16GB (4 x 4GB).
I'm currently looking into overclocking my CPU / using a XMP profile on the RAM. I've had a look around on the G.Skill website, the RAM latency is 8-8-8-24-2N and they run at 1600MHz. Do you think I should look into other RAM or is mine alright? I'm assuming the lower the latency the better? What should I expect from the RAM when running in XMP, or is it trial and error?
