You running a 64bit OS yes?

Your motherboard covers up to 2133MHz so any 16GB kit in the 2133MHz or 1866MHz which supports XMP is where I would look.

- Dual Channel DDR3 memory technology
- 4 x DDR3 DIMM slots
- Supports DDR3 2133(OC)/1866(OC)/1600/1333/1066 non-ECC, un-buffered memory
- Max. capacity of system memory: 32GB*
- Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)

What difference do the speeds make? Still not a clue which kit would be best? In the specs above it lists 2133(oc) so does that mean it must be over clocked to achieve that on this mobo? Or should i just go 1600

Not a clue on differences in real world, was just going off the assumption higher is better

Bumping an old thread. I have the same mobo and want to increase RAM to 16gb.

I have the same question as Kinger8938, if I buy 2133 ram what do I have to do to have it running at that speed?

Just overclock the mobo?
