I cant think of any pascal laptops for under 1000...not even close. your going to have go for a 960 or 970m. maybe the dell 7559. you should have some spare change for upgrades after that (not sure if it comes with touch screen though)

The battery life of pascal laptop's right now is quite honestly shocking.

I have been researching them since release and none will last more than 3 and a half hours with brightness turned down and eco mode enabled.

The ONLY laptop that can handle all current AAA games with a nice screen (non touch) with a huge battery that can last 10 hours for light use 4 hours gaming right now is the Gigabyte Aero 14 with an i7 6700hq 16gb DDR4 GTX 970m and a 92wh battery.

I think we will be waiting till mid next year for the pascal range to be adapted to the current line of laptops that have a decent battery life with touchscreens, although the portability is bound to decrease due to the TDP of the 1060 being the same as the 970m.
