Around that price you're gonna be looking at second hand for any reasonable gains. You can get a 7970 3gb (same as a 280x) or GTX 770 from a prominent auction site for around £100.

If you can wait a while, based on current pricing of the 480 and the previous 2xx/3xx series, I'd imagine the 470 should fall close to £100, if not then the 460 almost certainly will? (basing that on the fact that the 380 is like £150, the 370 is £115 cheapest).
AMD aren't going for performance right now, they're targeting budget systems so I honestly think they'll have something in your budget shortly

I have chance of 2nd hand gtx 780, or wait for rx 460, hmmmm
