The price is ok, the rest is sort of meh. I can't see this being the massive market share winner that AMD thought, especially when Nvidia release the more efficient and probably just as powerful 1060.

Seems like a solid card. All the reviewers seem to be recommending it, but nice to see certain people sticking to their guns and trying to claim that it's a disaster. You go girls! ;)

The performance looks fine, sometimes beating the 970 and somethings not, but mostly in new games it is ahead. I would order the 4 Gig version now if it wasn't for the fan which looks very bad...going to have to wait for new designs.

At Guru3D the 480 beats the AMD Fury in Fallout 4 at 1080p and 1440p.

It seems to be all over the place, in some games it's at 970 speeds, in other around 390X, and some outliers it's at Fury speeds.

I don't see what all the hype is seriously? it's a £220 card that can't even match an GTX 970 and the 970 just loves to overclock and can be had for £207 with £20 cashback from EVGA, and the problem we have it A LOT of people bought the 970 when it was released because it offered great performance at a great price! as well as the fact what's the point in WAITING for a card to come out at the same price and offer the SAME performance yes the power draw is better than a 970 but lets not forget the 970 is STILL a very efficent gpu and we're comparing 28nm vs 14nm so they've shaved off around 50 watts of power vs the 970 but yet still can't match it, and you can buy used 980s for the same price which offer much better performance. Sorry guys not an Nvidia fanboy but this is a fail! my 980 Ti is 60% more expensive £359 but can come close to or actually be twice as fast as this... R.I.P AMD

I was reading the review wondering why people had been getting so hyped for this card, just because it's new and shiny it seems and nothing else.
