Replaced stock HD600 pads, my ears are in comfort heaven!

I needed some new pads for the HD600 as my big ears touch the drivers and its suuuper annoying, I herd only bad things about getting HM5 on the HD600 but of all the variants the angled Velour were recommended the best.

So quick impressions, comfort is now 10x better (for me) Sounnd stage is much better, more air in the music, Bass is slightly affected however but for me its only like 5% worse a decent trade off for comfort.

You need to take the plastic rings from your stock pads and then you can slip the rings in the HM5 pads and they fit great.

Was quite surprised how much the pads can affect the sound on my 600s - glasses on or off even has a noticeable difference.

dont get me wrong, im sure brand new £40 stock pads will purely sound slightly better, but for me the comfort is needed due to my big ears touching the drivers.

I got them recently for my Beyer DT770s. Massively impressed, especially when wearing glasses.

I would have bought another set for my HD600s but I'm waiting for them to go on a deal as I don't really need them.
