Hello Modders!

Today we are launching the new braided extensions from Phanteks, these are all 50cm long and made out of very high quality sleeving.

To accompany this, we have a pretty cool product for people wanting to run two systems off one PSU. The Power Splitter is an excellent way of making your high wattage PSU run two systems at once, perfect for gamers looking to incorporate a storage server into their main rig or just for people who have huge cases and want to run a dual system setup.

Both are available to buy now!

Phanteks Isolated Dual System PSU Power Splitter PH-PWSPR_1P2M @ £21.95 inc VAT

Phanteks’ patented isolated dual system technology, the PH-PWSPR_1P2M is a power splitter designed to eliminate the need to use two power supplies for dual system configuration, making this a cost efficient and space-saving solution. Users will be able to run two fully functional systems independently of one another with only one power supply. The Power Splitter is compatible with all ITX, mATX, ATX and E-ATX boards and ensure stability when the device is operational.

Features:
Patented Isolated Dual System Technology
Using the Power Splitter, a dual system configuration can operate independently of one another. Powering ON/OFF on one system will not affec t the other and vice versa. As long as one system is running the power supply will be fully operational until both systems are off.

Anti-Noise Inrush Protection Circuit
Helps to protec t and stabilize the voltage signal level and also enables the power supply ’s various protec tion to prevent damage caused by inrush current surges.

Universal Mount + Drop-N-Lock
The Power Splitter comes with a velcro sticker that allows intallation in universal case products. The Power splitter is also equiped with a Drop -N-Lock mounting system, which makes installation even more convenient for Phanteks’ compatible cases.

Cable compatibility
24-Pin / 8-Pin (/ 4-Pin) Extension cables are required for connec ting the power splitter to motherboards. The power splitter is compatible with all standard ex tension cables on the market. However, we recommend to use Phanteks’ extension cables which are designed with extended length (500mm) for better cable management.

Nice addition to your range. Would you say the colours on the Phanteks braids are brighter than your BitFenix and Silverstones? They look that way from the pics but would need to see in person.

And now to find an excuse to use that power splitter module in a build. :D

A dual system mid-tower/cube case designed for two ITX motherboards (stacked) at the front (or horizontally for cube), windowed (of course), with PSU and storage in back chamber (or bottom chamber for cube) would be nice and maybe an attractive choice for couples living together, looking to save on space or just liking the idea of sharing the same PC (not ideal for everyone, I know).
