I think you need to remove the word 'value' from your own 1070 model.

Same price as EVGA etc, yet only a 2 year warranty.

nice cards, but a little more expensive than I had hoped. May have to hold fire for a couple months.

Will be sticking with my 980 for a wee while yet I think.

More expensive than I had hoped but not surprising considering its Nvidia. Ill hold out for the time being. Hopefully AMD can release some info on a 490.

extremely shocked at these prices, they are huge. cant beleive my 970 equivalent of the evga sc was only £260. bargain.

There was me thinking the Founders version was the top line price !! While its looking like an awesome card I think they need to drop by £20-30 at least. Saying that the KAF ref blower price is quite good.

Am I missing something? I see no specific option to preorder, and taking it through the checkout simply results in it asking me to remove the card from the basket as it's not in stock.

The FE 1080 is £619, you can get the basic one for £525 (84.8% of the price). You would expect, following the same % that the basic 1070 would be no more than £339.

Also many more of the after market 1080s are cheaper than the FE, whilst very few of the of the 1070s are.

For example the iChill x3 1080 is £50 cheaper than the 1080 FE but the iChill X3 1070 costs £30 more than the 1070 FE.

yea ill be holding out for a while. my 970 will stay put in my rig for a bit yet.

well that's confirmed that I'm done with NVidia Cards, I will stick with the 970 for VR and maybe get the RX480 for my other PC.. depending on benchmarks may swap them over if the 480 is better than 970.

As everyone predicted these founder edition cards have just allowed AIB partners to price their cards higher.

Nvidia dont set retail prices, they recommend the price. If you think its Nvidia that's set the £435 price for the G1, then you guys are just looking for someone to blame and its being pointed in the wrong direction.
