I'm building two pc's into a large case. Does anyone know if its possible to have one DVD shared by both pc's .. SATA cable wise.

I suspect i could do it, if i fitted a USB external drive in the case, and had a USB switcher. however, thats a bit .. meh

Both PCs are always on at the same time.

The DVD drive needs to be inside the case.. so hooking up to the network, would be difficult.
Some sort of external USB powered unit, with a USB switcher built into the case, seems to be the way to go.. unless anyone else has any idea.....

It would just been easier to install the drive in whichever machine is going to be on most of the time and then share it over the network.
