I am considering buying the Samsung 950 pro and using a m.2 to pci-e adapter but I am concerned that it may slow down my GPU as the specs for my motherboard says support x4/x4 mode does that mean my GPU will only run at x4 mode if I use the m.2 adapter in the other pci-e slot?
Also since the other pci-e slot is 2.0 will I not get the rated speeds of the 950pro? If that is the case I may just get the samsung pm951 since it has lower speeds if you guys think that would be best.
