U2515H / Gfx card help

I decided to upgrade my monitors at work. At the moment I have a simple 4070x2 with 2 monitors using DVI/VGA cables.

Decided to buy a pair of U2515H monitors and stupidly didn't realise it wasn't going to work.

What are my options to get 1440p easily? I am guessing some sort of DVI to Displayport adapter won't work?

The only thing I can think of easily is swapping the graphics card for a generic one with a displayport connection. I don't need a powerful 4870x2 graphics card for work anymore, I only do usual office things now. Can anyone recommend me an AMD graphics card that I could fit?

And to be honest, I'm more inclined to get a proper display port graphics card and just do it correctly once as I use it my PC all the time and don't want to fettle around etc.

Just suggested it because it natively supports multiple display port monitors without any fancy adapters, hence it should support 1440p. Toi get multiple display ports you do seem to need to spend more.

If you just want to stream 1080p youtube vids, then just get a cheapo graphics card and get some HDMI adapters. An el cheapo Radeon 5450 comes with VGA, DVI and HDMI. You'll just have to accept it won't be 1440p.

Bargain basement, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI, 1 VGA:

2 native display ports:

1 DP and comes with DVI > DP adapter:

1DP, 1 DVI, no adapter:

Yeah, that's £5 less than a W4100 and will more than do the job. Should do 1440p as well. Not too familiar with the lower-end of the Nvidia range TBH - I'm a design engineer by trade, so when people start asking for multi-monitor non-gaming setups, I default towards the entry-level workstation cards.
