Television 'GAME' mode - Any downside when enabled?

At the moment I have a Panasonic 58AX802B and literally all my devices are connected though my Denon AVR-X3200W A/V Receiver.

The Receiver only has one main zone HDMI out, and that is connected to HDMI #4 on the TV.

I have a PC, Xbox One and PS4, so my TV settings for HDMI #4 include having 'Game' mode enabled which brings lag down to around 37ms

What detrimental effect does this have on the picture from Blu-ray and Freesat HD? I've been running it like this for at least a year and haven't noticed anything in particular.

It's going to be dependent on the television but what it usually does is removes all unnecessary processing so the image isn't modified by things designed to supposedly make it look better, it usually affects the sound profile too.

not much tbh, on my 4k tv i keep it on game mode, and it still allows me to use all the picture settings apart from natural motion, which i would turn off anyway. the picture quality looks the same as when game mode is off
