2k laptop recommendations

hey guys, looking for the best bang for buck on a gaming laptop for 2k, want to try and get the fastest processor along with 980 gfx.

not been in the laptop loop for a long time so not sure whats the best these days.

Wait for the gtx 1070 and 1080 to hit the laptop scene, it won't be long. They will MASSIVELY outperform the current leader the 980m.

This. GTX 1080m is meant to be better than Titan X performance and just slightly better than the Desktop 1070, which is over 2 times the current 980m's performance.

Do we know when the 1080/1070 based machines are going to be available? It always seems to be aaaages after they're announced.

The 980m was a year after it was announced. The 1080m isn't officially announced yet.

(im looking at an XPS with a 960m so im not sure if it will be worth waiting)

How are you finding that screen? The apparently poor tn panel on the 15.6" model put me off

The screen is very nice indeed Slam no issues at all.
