Hey guys i have 3 monitors running

Monitor 2 in middle of livingroom and monitor 1 and 3 on my computer desk.

I'm running windows 10 and a 980ti.

Is there a simple and easy way to deactivate and activate monitor 2?

I see the option disable display in display settings, but then i can't seem to find a way to activate it again unless i select duplicate display on 1|2 which is a hassle as i then have to select 'extend these displays' afterwards.

Sorry if in the wrong section as this is a windows/gpu/monitor issue so wasnt sure sir admin

I get 4 options from it
Pc screen (number 1)
Duplicate (no idea)
Extend (which is selected)
Second screen only (which is number 2, the tv)

Dont think this will help. I thought windows 10 was meant to be amazing

Okay, if i go control panel, display, adjust resolution

it comes up with the old windows 7 style change resolution settings, which constantly displays the deactivated display to reactivate easily.

This is too long, is there a way to make a shortcut?

i have tried, clicked at top of window, copied address and put it into a shortcut and it won't open it

I found a fix, Created the 'god mode' show all control panel

Drag and dropped a shortcut to my desktop for 'adjust display settings'

Now i can easily activate or deactivate monitors like it was in windows 7
