Would it be better going to one of these from a 780ti instead of a 980ti?
I like the 780to but it seems that's it fallen well behind the newer cards.
Shame as it cost a lot of money not too long ago.

tbh the cheap 980 ti is pretty decent for the price.1080 is still to expensive.especially when you think a decent 980 ti can just about match a 570 pound card for 320 now.so a 980 ti will be good for two years. save 250 quid the 1080 wont get any faster and then sell 980ti plus what you saved will buy you the next card. so you will end up same performance now and end up in front and buy your next card in two years for the same price as a 1080 now lol.

both are about x2 as fast as your 780 ti.

the 1080 will eventually come down to 400.

By eventually we are talking 8 to 12 months....

what does that matter ? think about it. even if it takes 12 months which it wont. you still end up with a card which is about as fast and 250 quid saved.

sell 980 ti in 2 years time for £100 + 250 you saved you still will be ahead with a newer card.you dont have to follow my advice.you would have a faster card though for less and be covered for longer.

look at performance of titans.often in two years the next 970/1070 will have that kind of performance.

so the titan now you will be getting that kind of performance for about ?£400 in 2 years time.which you basically will have.

if you still got your 1080 you have ended up worse off.for the same amount of money.

So you think the 980ti is still a worthwhile buy then?
What's considered the best ones? Don't really know much about the graphics cards so evga here and asus there I just get confused as to what the difference is lol.
Got a p400s case coming aswell and not sure if these 980s or 1080s will fit in it

Now things are starting to get somewhat reasonable (pricingwise). I wonder how the cooling and fans on this thing are? Could be one of the best 1080s to buy.
