most likely yes, you will have issues

I bought 2 x 4G sticks before (corsair)

then went and ordered EXACTLY the same 2 x 4G kit (exact same order code)
and they would not play together at all
I asked for help at the corsair support forums and was basically told tough titty

I ended up buying a new kit 2 x 8G from kingston

I've had no issues when I got mine I just ran it at speed of the lowest rated RAM and it's been fine, I managed to get away with keeping the timings of the slowest stick on the fastest sticks which was decent. 2x4GB 1866mhz CL10 and 2x4GB of 1600mhz CL9.

Match all the timings in the bios to run at the slowest sticks settings and all will be fine.
Have set up hundreds of systems using mismatched RAM, and whenever there was a problem it was either faulty RAM or the bios trying to run them too fast.

I'm mixing Corsair and OCZ memory, not ideal but total 8GB. Set it to lowest cas and speed of the slowest memory.

Seems fine.

May buy a 16GB set HX316C9SRK2/16 before memory type becomes obeselete
