Which RAM?

It's been a while since I built this PC, haven't gamed in a while but thinking of getting back into it and going for a GeForce 1060 6GB. Question is, should I upgrade the RAM from 8Gb (2x4GB) to 16GB (2x8GB?) while I'm at it?

I currently have i5 on a ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3, can't remember which type of RAM I have without taking a closer look.

Which RAM do I need if I go for the upgrade? I'm not really interested in overclocking, just want decent and stable, doesn't have to be the cheapest.

P.S. I currently use the rig for business, plenty of windows open at once, dual display, little bit of photo editing etc. Current 8Gb seems to cope with that lot though..

16GB is nice but not 100% required. My advice would be just get the GPU for now and see how you get on. You can monitor RAM usage while gaming and if you get close to max and its causing issues, then you can upgrade then. Personally I think you will be fine with 8GB
