MSI GT72S Dragon Edition GPU temp & FPS?

Hi,

For some reason i was getting a solid 75 FPS in
Heroes & Generals but now i only manage 30 sometimes lower.
I have the game optimized through Geforce Experience from the beginning.
I have had the fan on boost while playing every time too but the huge
drop in frames is confusing me.
The GPU temp at 75 FPS was around 50-60C, now it is around 35-40C at 30
FPS.
I even rolled back the Nvidia driver thinking it was that but still at
30 FPS, uninstalled and reinstalled but it is the same.
Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

P.S. sorry if this isn't the right place to post this.

Nvidia experience setting is on battery, that limits it to 30fps to conserve battery.

That's what i thought.
In the GeForce Experience program the battery boost option is off and set to
maximum framerate: higher performance.
Right clicked on the battery icon in the bottom right, went to power options
and it's set to high performance too.
Opened the MSI System Control Manager and it's set to Eco off.
Not sure what else i can do.

Try removing geforce experience completely and install just the graphics driver. Make sure SCM is installed, then install dragon gaming centre, hit 'device settings' then click 'high performance' (should highlight in yellow) and 'sport' (highlights in red).

Then try again.
