New wifi card, very slow internet

Hello

I got my new PC today

However the internet is soooo slow, on speed test I got 700 ping lol

and downloading file goes about 35kbs

I have a: Wireless/Wired Networking WIRELESS 802.11 AC1900 1,300Mbps/5GHz, 600Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD

my laptop and my tablet connect fine to my BT home hub 5 wireless

any ideas guys? Im totally stumped

How far is the PC from the router? Is this with both 5GHz and 2.4GHz?

You didn't really specifically state which wireless card it is, just what it supports.
