In the run up to Christmas I'm going to be smashing some prices on RGB Peripherals so everyone can enjoy an RGB Christmas...

It was £164.99 a few days back as I recall , and has been so for a while.....I got myself one of these couple of weeks back on black friday ...not from OcUK though...but its a nice KB

I'm waiting for RGB wireless keyboards to be the next big thing. There have literally been 5,762 mechanical keyboards released this year, so next year it's surely the turn of wireless.

it might be razer but it's £65 cheaper than the rog claymore.

I know its all a personal preference thing and "Everyone has their own viewpoint VK" but I have had nothing but issues with razer products that I bought for a few family members 2 years ago during a good black Friday sale.

As I said its all perspective but I just find them a mid brand company charging top end prices and no tech support to back up the price.

That's the way I see them too. Normally ocuk are pretty good in pricing but this is way off, not that I'd buy anything from razer!

I've got the non RGB, that I got for £60 (direct from Razer) and had no isssues. I even poured a whole bottle of red wine over it :/

Doesn't have Cherry switches though and the Corsair Sabre could be had for under £120 which does have Cherry.

Very interesting... - after speaking with the distributor, that particular retailer have had the same deal as us but for some reason decided to fund it further and sell at a loss... They did the same with Steelseries on Black Friday/Cyber Monday

The longer I work in this role the more I get really annoyed about the fact as a taxpayer I'll end up bailing out these companies when they go under as they desperately try to compete with smaller, more nimble specialists and can't...

The parent company of that particular retailer are a huge company now and can absorb these losses by taking money from profitable parts of their business to try and make people "their customers" and win in the long run. Don't forget they will try and recoup these losses. I get angry when i see how much they try and sell an HDMI cable for! I can remember the hard sell they used when I went there with a friend and his parents as a teenager... I have refused to spend any money there ever since
