I'm not fully clued up on RAM so need some advice. Currently I have these sitting in my PC;

Now I would like to add 8GB more RAM, but they are out of stock (otherwise I would simply just order those), however I have come across these wit hthe same timings and channels, etc.

Would it be a simple plug in and away we go with 16GB of RAM? I do have 64 bit.

What socket cpu you got? you cant just upgrade to ddr4 if you have a ddr3 mobo
