2nd hand phones - £150 to £200

As title really, what does £150 - £200 get you these days with regards "previously enjoyed" Android phones?
My brother is in need of a new handset, doesn't want to increase his monthly charges (SIM only) and doesn't want to spend "silly money" on a new handset.
What does that kind of money get you at the moment?

A useless brick if you're not careful since there are a lot of scumbags out there that will sell a top end phone cheaply, and then either report it as lost or stolen to their network or not pay their bill which is both situations will end up with the phone being blocked from being used on any network (and these second hand stores are getting caught up in it as well).

IPhone 4 is worth like 2p now.

At least an iPhone 5s for this price but even then it's poor value.

LG G4 should be under 200 used. Nexus 6, Nexus 5x. Note 4.
