it's a good headset if that's the money you want to spend and you want closed back
for FPS specifically an AKG K612/702 and a mic (mod mic/clip on mic/ desk mic) would be better but open backs aren't for everyone.

many thanks. I think i will go ahead with the cloud II for now. Just waiting for Friday before i place my order and new machine parts!
