Recommendations for a small bluetooth speaker

My daughters birthday is fast approaching and one thing we would like to get her is a new portable speaker/dock for her iPhone. She previously had small system with a 30pin iPhone dock but since moving to a newer phone this has become redundant.

We were thinking of a bluetooth speaker but there are just so many to choose from so looking for some recommendations. Ideally:-

Nothing too huge (but without sounding really tinny)
Can be powered by mains or USB in addition to the battery
Nothing majorly expensive (is there anything worthy in the sub £50 bracket?)

And FYI she just listens to the usual chart/pop crud.

JBL Flip 2. Bought my sister one for Christmas last year, really very impressed with it for its size and wattage.

I use the Azatom Droid with my iPhone SE. Sound is excellent as is the battery life. Oh and they are a UK company!

I actually went with the Azatom Storm following a recommendation from a friend.
