Was round a mate's over weekend pumping tunes with his (rubbish) setup using a cheap and dirty 3.5 stereo cable from my iPhone into his speakers.
The cable broke as I pulled it out the phone. The tip of the jack is now lodged in the headphone socket.
I've tried all the tips I've read online. Tweezers, no luck, an ear bud tube, a Bic pen tube. All I've achieved is scratching the metal around the headphone socket.
As a result of this, phone is stuck in mute as thinks headphones are plugged in. Going to drop it in for a repair I think to get the whole socket replaced. But just wondering if anyone has any final ideas I could try for getting this out?!
