Quick question(s)

My Smart Ultra 6 is on its last legs. Ive been looking just at the Redmi Note 3 Pro.

I take it these phones come with Google play store and apps like banking (natwest, barclarycard etc) work fine on them?
and im currently with BT Mobile (EE Network), will i get 4g?.

and last but not least..

Is it worth waiting for the Note 4?. How long does it normally take for global roms to be released?.

I see the latest update means I no longer have to swipe down and then right to access all the quick buttons. It's all there in a down swipe now.

What version are you on now mate?

Miui global 8.0 (8.0.1.0).

Yes, but only if you are willing to fiddle around unlocking bootloaders, installing custom ROMs, etc in my opinion.

ARgh,,, Mi Max, Red Note 3 pro or note 4?!?! cant decide. Anyone guess if Mi Max or Note 4 will get Cyanongen?

Does anyone know how long it takes for a global rom release or if it will be coming at all?

Just got miui8 stable pushed out to me. Looks a lot more like lollipop but still not 6 marshmallow.

Has a few annoying bugs but nothing serious, hopefully it will be out soon.

Mine updated itself to MIUI 8 stable the other day, seems Ok apart from the notification area changes (which you can revert) and the major drawback - the lack of power profiles. They really gimped the power saving options on the ROM now... but ah well.

My note 3 still hasn't had 8 yet

Hmmm ... the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 looks interesting (see here and here) not to be confused with the Redmi Note models. Depends really on what the rom situation will be with it.

The battery life on MIUI 8 is still great and I would say even better than 7.

anybody else patiently waiting for redmi 4 news?
