my mums recently been buying a few vhs films actually, purely for my daughter and nephew - shes stocking up on all the old disney films for when she looks after one of them, not too bad really - lion king for 50p when on DVD its £20+ and my 2 year old really couldnt care less about quality as long as she can see and sing along

Disney DVDs are LUDICROUSLY priced.

it is a bit over the top pricing, luckily we picked well with aladdin and the toy story box set but im getting very tired of watching the same ones over and over.... the joys of having a 2 yr old

on a + i did pick up a bugs life DVD for £1.25 from a charity shop the other day, although not the best disney film its the only one ive seen so far in said shops

No and its a shame really because I had quite a few great films on vhs which I can't watch anymore, and so I have to pour yet more money into the large media corporations to buy something that I already own, but in another format.
