Hard drive enclosures?

I have a 3.5" 500gb Sata hard drive I'd like to use as an external device.
I've been looking at some USB 3 enclosures. Are these things pretty much the same? Any recommendations or any I should avoid.

I have seen some around the £15.00 to £20.00 on he bay but I'm uncertain of their quality etc...

We have a few at work cheap versions and they seem absolute piles of poop.
There must be a good decent one that doesn't get too hot without silly money out there ?

The icey docks are pretty good from experience, it's a pretty simple box for USB3 in the end... you can get hot swappable ones which is handy or a 5.25" bay hot swap so you can pop it in or out at will.
