MSI X99A Raider

Hi Folks,

I was wondering does anyone have any info on this motherboard opr experience of it?

I am looking at perhaps shifting to X99 from my current AMD setup & saw this at a cheaper price point

Don't want to consider it until I have heard reports

Are you considering overclocking? If you are, this might not be the best option as it doesn't have the OC socket.

Wondered why it was quite a Bit cheaper- I usually only play WOW or other MMO's so just looking for a Bit of a lift from my FX8350 which is quite CPU limited

The 6 Cores with Hyperthreading will certainly help me with messing around with VM's

Almost all of the Asus and Gigabyte boards have the OC socket. I'm not sure about other brands but I know some MSI and Asrock boards have it as well.

If you're messing around with VMs, then X99 is probably a good choice.
