Hey all, I am part of the tech team here at OcUK, I have been working at OcUK since November last year and I'd challenge myself with a little water cooling project (well big project).

I have been doing my own water cooling builds for a while now but have never ventured into acrylic tubing or serious case modding.

I will update this thread as I get started but what I can tell you is that I am going to be doing this build in a black and red Parvum ATX case and mod the colours of it.

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/parv...atercooling-case-black-and-red-cm-013-ps.html

watch this space for updates, colour schemes and the progress of this project.

you better be using them fancy water routing plates 8pack has in the asteroid and we have just been spoilt with in the parvum furia project log. they make me drool so much and i am really hoping i can come up with something along the lines of them next time i jump in.

The L1 is a much bigger case than the Asteroid....so clearly room for twice the acrylic porn! ;)

Anyway, don't encourage him to take up ALL of Parvum's time....they might end up too busy to cut mine! ....once I finally finish designing it *cough*

Must be nice when you find yourself missing a part to only have to walk a few feet and take one off the shelves....probably dangerous to your wallet too though! I've certainly been in the situation at my last job where at the end of the month I got a payslip that basically said "Thank you for working for us this month. You now owe us £xxx"

So I picked my colour scheme for this project! Kawasaki green with a hint of electro orange spray to make it stand out a bit more! Although it's not noticeable on the pictures it looks good when you see it.

I'll post up pictures when I've sorted out a paint issue as its scratched somehow -_-

TheFuzz is working his painting magic skills to sort it out

Here is the colour scheme I'm going for......sorry for the delay had a few issues with images and a scratch on the backplate.

I think this is a good colour, what do you think?

TheFuzz seems very overworked of late!

It's definitely a statement colour. Difficult to say love-it or hate-it until we see it in situ to be honest. Just on its own I'm leaning towards the latter but paired with the orange it might work spectacularly....I just lack vision....so my wife tells me when she wants to redecorate the living room. What's wrong with Magnolia I ask you?! :D

Yeah, I get what you mean, with the colours it's rather in your face but I have faith that it will all come together! The rads are going to be a similar colour.

But it's the sort of effect I want! You may have given me a idea adding aspects of orange it in! Hadn't thought of that

So heres todays handy work, prepping and applying a base coat on one of my radiators (only two more to go) the colour is going to be the same colour as the backplates.

slowly getting there with everything. Hopefully i should have the case up and running by the end of the week so keep a eye out for that :D

Okay guys, may be having a little bit of a issue with the colours here! I seem to find myself in a difficult situation with colour matching and finding what colours work with this in your face green!

So here it is! I gonna open up a colour scheme poll so to speak! I want to find out what colours you guys would like to see and what you think would work best! As I have no knowledge with colours.

SO here it is the secondary colour I have chosen to go with my green, this is a front panel for the parvum ATX L1 case looks pretty good to be fair.

Tomorrow is the big day for the case, so can hopefully start assembling sometime soon.

So then, the theme I'm going for is joker/Edward nigma (riddler) theme! So the idea is to have green and purple rads, and having green fluid going into the purple rads and purple fluids going into the green rads! Sounds a bit crazy but I've looked into it and it should work! Two seperate loops one dedicated for CPU to get maximum cooing and the other dedicated to the graphics cards!! So all in all I should have four rads which is crazy but I want this to be a beast.

Hmmmmm this is interesting! But I'm concerned dark purple will look more like black.

well considering you where guna choose bright green i suppose purple of the normal shade wont really matter. i said dark purple as i couldnt have my pc being bright purple in the corner of the living room lol.

so as i have noiw got my parvum case and started to assemble it i discovered a few things.....
1, after purchasing the accent kit its only the front and back panals that are purple leaving the top and bottom red.

2, I am missing a cube the support the middle of the case.

What? There are no spare mod cubes at OCUK from previous builds?! But there's ALWAYS a random part left over when you've finished putting it together! ;) :D

So are you going purple and red (and respraying the GPU backplates) or replacing the red panels? That, is the question!

Yeah no spare cubes here, they dont sell that often and when one of my colleagues binned the spares when he took one apart...cheers for that.

And yes im replacing the red panels for puple ones once i can get hold of parvum and request new puple panel. I'm keeping the GPU plates green. i still have faith that its going to look good.
