Caterham Fireblade
It's also not true, they rev to 9k, 8200 for peak power.
So did no-one see the post about Tesla doing 14k or is this now "Whats the highest revving current production car that isn't bike engined, a ****el or electric?"? (Is using 2 question marks grammatically correct there? )

What would actually happen if you did this?
I wonder what the lowest revving road going engine would be? Mine hits the guv'nor at around 5k RPM...
Gumpert Apollo has a redline of 7400, dunno when/if limiter kicks in.
Enzo does 8000 on the red, not in production but not sure if same engine used elsewhere.
Spoon EK9 - 11,000 RPM
What is the highest revving road car in production at this present time?
Westfield also did a Fireblade model. Both companies stopped the models around 2002. Caterham no longer have any bike engined cars in production.[/QUOTE said:Unfortunately my friend I think you are a little confused

Probably a truck of some sort, or in a car the Bentley Turbo R which redlined at 4500 rpm or so IIRC.
