Would some care to explain what the latest models are.

My trusty Z3 compact has bit the dust, but looking at the websites the number system has now be removed and i cant make head or tale what is the latest phone to replace the z3 with.

X suceeded the Z series although honestly they're not exactly that great. Sony phones aren't really worth considering any more as they seem to be changing their mobile focus.

There is the upcoming X Compact though which seems to be coming out at the same time as the XZ, which from rumours sounds decent enough if you're after a phone under 5". It should be as good as the Z5c.

Thankyou,

Will hang onto the X compact, yes its mainly a size thing, sits in the bike leathers easier.

Would be interesting to get someone from Sony's marketing team to explain this!

Problem: Not selling enough phones.
Answer: Make the model designations so confusing that not even tech nerds know what's going on !!

^It's also got an different SoC to the Z5. The X has a SD650 and the X Performance uses a SD820 which is being used in nearly all 2016 flagships.
