I have had my ASRock Z68 Extreme4 for around 5 years and it's served me well, last week I went to turn the computer on and nothing... no a thing!
So on some investigation, after unplugging everything from the motherboard apart from the two power cables and the CPU it still wouldn't power on and no lights anywhere.
I could plug my mouse or phone into the motherboard USB and it would power ok, but still nothing from anything else.
I unplugged the 12v 8pin connector on the motherboard leaving the other power connector connected and it now powers on (PSU and CPU fans spin) but still not LEDs etc on the motherboard.
Is the 12v supply on the motherboard faulty?
Or could it be the PSU?
