Bristol Ridge is supposed to be a 20% increase over the FM2+ chips so at near 5Ghz this would offer some serious performance. This could offer i5 performance for Pentium money and a future drop in Ryzen upgrade.

What I read is:

NAMEGT ran this setup on multithreaded Cinebench 11.5 and Cinebench 15, scoring 4.77 and 380 respectively for a 4.8 GHz overclock.

It's the only benchmarks we have to go on, I don't see why they should be ignored if Anandtech feel they're reputable enough to be posted in their article.

The date on that is 8th December, it takes all of 5 seconds to click other results and see which way around the date format is.

So you've linked a validation to a chip from the guy who originally provided the Anandtech benchmarks but don't believe the benchmarks?
