I would hope that would change as time goes on.

Doubt it sadly, its hardware limitation

It can be found on

Piledriver-based
Trinity APUs (Ax - 5xxx, e.g. A10-5800K)

Whats in Beta??
I do agree though AMD have tried and failed massively with Raptr they was too meny issue with that software.

Its great news for us all though because now like you said Nvidia need to answer back now and give there users what they been asking for etc
In the end we all win

16.12.1 is WHQL Bru not Beta

Disclaimer
(1) Compatible with desktop discrete AMD Radeon™ GCN and Radeon RX 400 Series enabled products with at least 2GB of VRAM, AMD VCE Support and Windows® 7/8.1/10 64 bit operating systems. Radeon ReLive is currently considered "as-is" beta level support for 32 bit operating systems.

Taken from the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 16.12.1 Release Notes

So as I said, looks like they are on to a winner even though 'some' features are still in beta. :)

Radeon chill certainly sounds interesting, it could be a great way to keep temps down and help reduce power consumption, without affecting the end user experience.

I can imagine in a few generations time this sort of tech will be standard for both sides and it will just be considered in a similar vein to how the GPU's throttle down when not being used too hard.

Kudos to AMD for thinking of this one, it has the potential to be of great benefit to us all.

I've had to uninstall this latest driver, it's very unstable for my rig, I initially thought it was MSI AB conflicting causing the lockups and artifacts, but after removing that and testing for a day, I can now say these new drivers are 100% the culprit. Now, whether or not the issue here is my crossfire on the latest drivers I've no idea, but one thing I can say, since 2pm this afternoon I've not had 1 single crash, error or complete system lock up. Previously I'vr had maybe a dozen or so since last night, some times in games, some times on desktop.

I'll put in a bug report now I know with 100% certainty it's the drivers for me that are causing the system instability.

I've only tried 3 or 4 games since installing Relive but it's all good here, I don't use Afterburner but it is installed so I booted that up and that was fine too so I switched it back off and carried on, I may try benching at 1130+ later and see what happens.

I fixed my audio slowdown in ReLive, was told to try 48hz in sound settings and it works now (was set to 96k).. also my 480 seems to be recording 3840x2160/30fps fine even though it says..

'Your current settings may not be supported by your hardware. More optimal settings will be used automatically while recording.'

Im guessing that means having it set to 60 isnt gona work lol

Still not happy about the saturation/contrast/brightness sliders gone.

Installed and working great for me.

Only two things with the recording I would like to see. Saving the temp instant replay recording to ram, and only writing it to file when you use the hotkey, same as obs does with it's buffer replay.

Game only. So it doesn't record the steam overlay, chat boxes etc or is this possible and I missed the option?

ReLive makes all of my screens flash and lag like crazy.

Here is a video of the game recording, the ReLive overlay keeps flickering and in time with the flickers all 3 of my screens freeze for a spit second.

Only way to stop it is to disable ReLive altogether.

EDIT: Found the issue, ReLive doesn't like F.lux
