Can't get Skyrim to work

I have the special edition and it crashes with a ntdll.dll error either launching or at the menu. Also an error pops up about wbemcomn.dll at the menu.

I have tried updating drivers, uninstalling Afterburner, copying wbemcomn.dll to various folders.

Anyone experienced this before? W7 64, 2600K OC'd, TX Maxwell

Have you verified the game in Steam? Assuming you're using Steam.

i had same probs i uninstalled and reinstalled and now works in steam

Had to reinstall Windows, seems to be working now.

Only thing is I had Steam installed on another drive so it's like a ghost steam install still working under a new Windows install... wonder if this will cause probs.
