Hey all,

Just been doing some testing last week or so on my 1080 Founders edition.
Playing around with Fan profiles Etc.

My question was What does the more aggressive Fan profile actually give me in return, for the extra noise, If im not overclocking?.

Summary:
For my Card
stock Clock for my card is 1733mhz
Even at 84C at stock Fan speed i'm still getting 1800Mhz over the suggested 1733mhz
My card very rarely hits 81c even on stock profile.
So even on the stock profile i'm losing only 46Mhz
And having a much quieter Experience.
Of course if you OC its worth it.

But for me Quiet will do :).

Stock - No fan profile
70c - 1846Mhz
75c - 1844Mhz
83c - 1800Mhz (or Thermal Throttle target)
84c - 1800Mhz
Fan Speed: 55%

Increased Profile 66% (no other changes)
70c - 1846Mhz
75c - 1844Mhz

Increased Profile 75% (no other changes)
70c - 1846Mhz
75c - 1844Mhz

Overclocked (forced 2000mhz 120% target 80% fan target)
70c - 2000Mhz
