Is this memory worth it?

I was thinking of purchasing this memory set. I have the rampage V edition 10 with 5930k.

Depends what you mean by worth it. If your budget can stretch, get it. However those IC are pretty old now. All the decent stuff goes into the TridentZ range.

Benefits from those kinds of speeds on X99 simply depends on the workload / application. It's pretty much an open ended question.

3000MHz is good on Haswell-E, it's what mine's running at. Why do you need 32GB? For most tasks, 16GB is fine. Unless you're using VMs or doing lots of video encoding.
