Anyone know of GTX 1060 laptops hitting the £1000 mark?

Seems like lower cards, GTX 970m and 980m are either running out of stock or overpriced for their relative performance.

There are some 1060 laptops hovering around £1200, but that seems a bit much to me.

£1000 would be the sweet spot for me to pull the trigger.

I wouldn't expect 1060 prices near a grand anytime soon (maybe, black friday, maybe).

980m laptops secondhand are still fetching over a grand.

£1,000 may have just been a target before the £ slumped against the $. To get there now something else important will have to be missed out, like a reasonable amount of RAM or such like. At the moment the cheaper ASUS 1060 lappys haven't even arrived in the UK despite being proposed a couple of months ago.

If and when the 1050Ti makes it to a laptop, that might just be close to the grand mark, but even then it might be necessary to limit the lappy with RAM, no SSD and even an i3 CPU?

Yeah found that one happily the other day.

I'd be surprised if there's a better deal than that during black friday. Seems to be ~£350 lower than the average price for a GTX 1060 laptop.

Well, I think most people with these laptops use mains power.

I imagine its about moving to different places and not actually gaming "on the move" if you know what I mean

The asus gl702vm with i7-6700hq, gtx 1060, 17" gsync IPS display and 128gb ssd was on sale for £1,099 on black friday. We may see that price again soon. If not I expect the 1050ti to be below £1k.
