6700K @ 4.7ghz and noisy fans..

Set multiplier to 47 and it's stable, not tried going higher.

Maybe it's not helped by the weather, but as soon as I start to use the pc the cooler Master nepton 240m fans kick up a gear action and it's quite loud.

I could ignore it, but if I can do anything for it I will.

Is this to be expected?

I used AI Suite 3 to setup the CPU fans - the chassis fan which is on the radiator will stay low now instead of kicking it up to 70% whenever the cpu fluctuates to 40 C

much quieter, was even fine for a benchmark

What volts you running for 4.7?
