Samsung Evo 750, any good for laptop

Her laptop needs a new drive. Currently using a 320GB slow mechanical HD

Also due a new install which will help. Thinking for the 250GB drive as it's only £60 delivered

Any good to use as daily main drive in a laptop?

Should be fine, I have a OCZ Trion in the other half's laptop and it does make a vast improvement over a normal HDD

my PC has 2 x 850 evos in and they are good drives and so far so issues

She should be over the moon with a SSD upgrade, my missus was when I did her work laptop.

Anybody who hasn't upgraded a laptop to an SSD really is holding it back, at around £60 for a decent 250Gb they are in my opinion a no brainer, if money is tight you could always by a 120Gb for around £35 and then use external storage when funds allow.
