Hi Guys,

Can you suggest me a nice pair of headset with good noise isolating capabilities? I am currently using Turtlebeach P12 which are great quality in term of sound but I can hear the telly when my partner is using it which is annoying (for her as she needs to turn it down ).

Something cheap and cheerful (for what I am looking for)!

I did some research in the meantime and I have narrowed it down to these two:

Asus Orion Pro (30db noise cancellation...which is a lot)
HyperX Cloud II (20db noise cancellation)

They seem both very valid, I don't care about surround as that is a nonsense... I had a pair of ACTIVE 5.1 and it was rubbish, I can imagine simulated!

Both are well priced (I want to stay in the 60 to 90 quid range).

She wont be watching tv at +10db....

My avr only powers my rather expensive speakers to +15db. No tv speaker goes anywhere near that. Your TV speakers probably don't go over -20db.
