I have a 1TB WD Black and it's rather noisy and vibey so i'd like to replace it with something quiet and reliable.

I don't really want to sacrifice on speed really. It'll only store music, downloads, some video etc but i want to ensure backups aren't a slowed too much.

Suggestions?

Edit: so that i don't get any more SSD suggestions (lol) budget is around the £100 mark.

This one is silent and you wont be sacrificing on speed - believe me! :p

Har Har :p Okay, should have specified a budget. Which is about £100.

The other option is NAS. Put it somewhere that you can't hear it.

I have a NAS for backups and steaming video, but i like to have the data on my PC for when i take it places for LANs etc. I also have a lot of audio samples as i used Ableton. They take up a lot of space and need to be local.

I have the 1TB variant and there is hardly any noise coming from it when it's in use, with the only audible noise that comes from it when the computer is in shut down mode and the head hits home just before power is switched off.

Some people might hate seagate drives after those issues many years ago, but it's the only one of the two major manufacturers that runs at 7200RPM as the WD blue goes at 5400RPM which is likely to slow things down.
