Right I am making this thread for people to post drivers and tweakers etc for the new X1900 cards because the shipping drivers are a bit flakey.

CCC didnt work for me so I tried the omega 6.1 drivers and that comes with a control panel that works for my X1900XT!

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=167924

3dmark 05 up from 4987 to 5080 and FEAR up from 84fps to 85fps. Not much but its better! Also the control panel let me use my T.V for movies etc but its a bit flakey and made my monitor run @ TV res.

Overclocking use http://www.driverheaven.net/zardon/overclocker.zip Just turn it to 3d mode and clock away.

Hope this helps.

The drivers that came with mine (5.13) and CCC panel work fine-its just the loading time for windows that has suffered!
I have also tried this on my second rig which is ATI also and agian the windows boot time is so slow. Once its finished then all is well but it is a little irritating to say the least!

And when are ATI going to release a proper driver for there new card?
Someone in ATI's planning and tech department should be shot for not having a driver ready at launch!

out of interest how did you get your lcocks to boot up on start up rather than only working for the session for whichyou set the clocks?

also i just got a maze 4 GPU block on my x1900xt and got tamps, after 30 mins of COD2 while overcloked onthe core to about 690, at 47C :)

temps of 47c, do they run that much hotter than an x850xt because ive got an x850 and will be upgrading to a x1900 in the next couple of weeks. My x850xt runs at 35c load clocked at 610mhz with a maze 4 gpu block. Am i gonna see my temps shoot up??

well that was initial temp and my rad is really a bit too small as i have my CPU on it as well and it is only a 120x1

but you should have seen my shock when the stock cooler went up to 70C+!!

madness

edit: make sure you have the new revision top as my old maze4 topdidnt fit my new card and i had to replace it with the acetal top - was about £18

the omega 6.1 work for me also, along with Ati tray tools, you need to disable the tray tools overclocking when installing, but everything else works fine.

love the IQ and this is one stonking card!

Is anyone else having trouble with the 'overclocker' utility? It won't let me set a core clock higher than 654.75 and a memory clock higher than 774.00, it just won't allow it.

Using ATI overdrive I can get up to 690/800 with out the card even breaking a sweat, but that only has the slider going up to 690/800 anyway. I'm sure this card is capable of more, but without the 'overclocker' utility working properly I can't get any further.

ooo everything works now! Sapphire X1900XT, 2.5Ghz X2, 227Mhz, 2.5-3-3-7 2Gb.

With Omega Drivers at:

625/1550:
2005: 9507
2006: 5344

However, clocking is a different issue :(
