Me and a mate or two are looking to get something sorted for the summer..but i need some help.

When does the season finish?
What are the best places to go (location and clubs)
Who did you book with?
What sort of prices did you pay...if you don't mind me asking!

- Season starts closing in Sept.

- Depends on what you want to do really - if you are a n00b probably best to stick to San An where it is cheaper, if not then Playa D'en Bossa is the next place to be - Ibiza Town area is the most expensive.

I am staying in Bossa this year (3rd time to Ibiza)

- This year we paid flights and accom separately, the first time I went was with MyTravel / Escapades, where the reps were helpful but not as peer pressurery as the 18-30s ones.

- First trip was package and was £280 in July - BARGAIN!
This trip is almost double that as we are going peak in August and Bossa is more expensive than San An, but the beach is there!

What would you like to know, i hope your ready for a rant!

Im going on 23 june for a week, this is just after opening week!
I did opening and closing week last year both were amazing, i prefer the
opening thou TBH. (woo 3 times in 12 months - is that sad?)

Clubs WOW where to start, depends what sort of music you are into really:

heres my line up:

24 June - Amnesia Opening (not sure yet)
25 June - Pacha or Judgment Sunday
26 June - DC10 / Circo Loco
27 June - Slinky
28 June - Mauro Picotto (Meganite)
29 June - Ferry @ Amnesia (Cream) - OH YESSSSSSSS

You have to go to Amnesia, just for the Ice machine and you have to
go Meganite or manumission just to go to the worlds biggest nightclub

Prices, have just paid 300 for the hotel and stuff, tickets are going to cost
between 25 - 40 pounds each per nite i always buy them before i go just for ease and i
can put them on my CC. (clubtix.co.uk) used them for 20 tickets last year not a problem at all

Bars, west end is just a row of bars my favourite is the Garden of Eden!

I might actually have 2 spare beds in our apartment, so looks like we will be having 2 other guests.

Dont want to put a dampner on it but drinks in night clubs are a nightmare, Amnesia / Priv. - 8 Euro for 250ml of water, Eden and other smaller 6 Euro.
Bottle of larger is 10 euro, and a Vodka lemon + lime was 14 euro.

Need to make sure your up for some late nights early mornings, big clubs dont
open till 12 and wont get good / busy till 1, 1.30 and be ready for a good 12 hours solid if you wanna go to the carry on parties

Be sure you have the stamina, my missus cant keep up so we are normally back to the hotel around 5 or 6, when i would be out for the full 12hours, but hey that just an addiction to music.

Knew id miss some important bits :

More important than any clubbing you HAVE to go and have a
pint at Cafe mambo and Cafe del mar on a clear evening and watch
the sunset.

Voted 2nd best sunset in the world to Hawaii (sp), its the most amazing thing ever the first time you see the sun "drop" into the sea, everyone cheering and some nice chilled beats in *** background.

I have goosebumps just thinking about it!!!!!!!!!!!

Starts closing end of september, last date last year was 2nd Oct

First time i would suggest staying in San An, just cause its easy for most places, the cheapest resort and will allow you to see the important "first time trip" stuff

Booked with going places all 3 times - same hotel all 3 times and the freaky thing is we even stayed in the SAME ROOM twice last year LOL.

Price £300 for a week, then 180 - 200 on club tickets before we got there

Ha ha... I'm splashing out and going peak (10th Aug) 10 nights.

I've done most of the clubs (have to say Manumission was overrated, but if you wanna do it then go ahead), but I still have a wishlist

I will deffo have to make friends as at the moment the line up looks like this (we probably won't do all these as they are not as hardcore as me ):

Thurs 10th = Eden - Twice As Nice (let the girls get the RnB out their systems (Would rather see PVD again at Amnesia)
Fri 11th = Pacha - Pure Pacha
Sat 12th = El Divino - Hed Kandi
Sunday 13th = Mambo - Radio 1 Weekender / We love space (I love space!)
Monday 14th = Nothing
Tuesday 15th = Nothing
Weds 16th = DJ Sammy (*groan* cheese - but will keep them happy)
Thurs 17th = Amnesia - Cream (Oakey and Ferry)
Fri 18th = El Divino - Miss Moneypennys (one of them is from Essex and they have a MM night there so will prob wanna go)
Sat 19th = Probably nothing

That'll do. I think Hed Kandi, Twice as Nice and Pure Pacha are probably the deffos unfortunately - unless I can make friends and get to Amnesia!

Tip for OP: Take advantage of drinks at the bars/at your apts I only drank water in the clubs - that was expensive enough!

BB don't want to put TT off, but i agree with you about
Manumission, the atmosphere wasnt there and it just wasnt
a "clubbers club".

But its a whole entertainment package isnt it!
The mad shows and diving in the pool etc, hopefully Meganite
will be better.

Amnesia does it for me im afraid, but just *** main room im a trance
addict, so althou pacha and space are cool they aint my ideal night out.

BB aint you posh going out that time of year, is that the time
when radio 1 are out there?

Yes im soo excited i really am like a little kid when it comes to this place

I am a bit of a random apple, but I love music and I love dancing.

You are from Rochester so I take it you will know Amadeus? I was there for my friend's 19th and was dancing on the podium.

That was until the DJ killed the lights and the music and told everyone to look at the podium and chant 'get off the podium'.
