Being Sued by Atari/Davenport !

Seen a thread about this recently, just recieved a letter today saying I am being sued by Davenport on behalf of Atari for illegally downloading Test Drive. They want £505! Crumbs.

Buy a copy and say you were downloading it because you didn't have the disc with you or something.

Tell them you wanted to download it so you can burn tens of thousands of copies and sell off at the markets, on ebay and on computer forums.

This is really common.

Ignore it completely, there's nothing they can do. The letter is illegal anyway.

Ignore it, no court would ever award anything like that for damages caused by downloading a video game anyway, so apart from the fact that no action ever comes from these letters, you don't have to worry.

Ignore it! They have no legal grounds, they are just trying to intimidate people into paying.
