Anyone bought a 5770 Vapor-X recently?

As title - Bought the wife one for Christmas and it seemed to be the reference board with the Vapor-X cooler. Then bought one myself last week from OcUK and the product code has changed from 11163-00-20R to 11163-05-20R and the board is now the shorter blue Sapphire custom design, the same as the 5750 Vapor-X, but in the same box etc. It also now has 3 green LEDs on the back of the board as well, and it didn't seem to like the presence of my PCI Sata controller in my PC...

Has anyone else noticed this change in PCB or am I the only one (or is my one a returned 5750 BIOS flashed to a 5770?????)

Can't seem to find any references to this change online either, and Sapphire's website still shows the reference black PCB.

Seems like they've changed the card to the shorter blue PCB...

How annoying, bet that also means no voltage adjustment? Also it doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the black PCB version :(

Indeed. Thanks for replying. I had to swap it with my wife's 5770 Vapor-X to get it to work in my PC. As it's a 2 wire fan there's no fan speed monitoring (although you can get the % in CCC etc as normal). Shame really, although functionally there's no real difference otherwise (I don't overvolt my GPUs).

Wow, they dumbed down a Vapor X card?

The Sapphire V2 has also been changed to a new V3 with a smaller PCB.

Bumping this up to ask for some info. If anyone has recently bought one of these and can answer this, then please do.

The current listed model on OCUK has the code 11163-00-20R.

Is this the black or blue PCB and does it support voltage tweaking?
