is my corsair 850w psu enough

hi guys,i have a i7-4.3ghz,ati 5870 cf 900/1300,3 hardives,bluray dive,cpu is watercooled,and will be adding a 240 rad soon for my gpu,is this psu ok as im a bit worried

Psu will be fine, currenty running an i7 at 4ghz with sli gtx 275's and a couple of hdd's, blu ray drive sound card and a fan controller with 6 fans. Powers it no problem.

im running gulftown at 4.5ghz with crossfire 5870s and a watercooling loop that doesnt even stress my hx850

if you have the HX850 then you will be fine.

the supply actually works up to 1050w but corsair rate it lower to keep it quiet

lol why do people worry about power supplys so much

1 x oc i7
6 x 120mm fans
1 x 90 mm fan
1 x 220 mm fan
3 x 1.5 TB hardrives
2 x optical drives
2 x oc 470 gtxs
1 x 18 w pump
4 x uv cold cathodes

all i can say corsair build bloody good power supplys

6500 @4.8 -Asus z170 pro -16GB D Pro 3000 - 1080 SC - Dell U2713HM - 120GB GT - WD Black Raid 0 2TB - WD Green 1.5 GB - 6TB NAS - Strider 1200W - Creative Z - Z550 - G19S - G13

Because graphics cards manufacturers etc make everyone think you need more wattage than you actually do if you buy decent branded PSUs.

the psu of a pc is one of the most overlooked components and nobody wants it to go bang and take the system with it

well if u buy a cheap power supplys your rig deserves to blow up
