Hi all and welcome to my thread didnt know to put here or in case central as it is a mod on my rid which involves me rebuilding it oh the joy :D

The rig in question is the rig in sig which i had not long upgraded to 470 sli which as i found out runs so hot and loud even in this case which is ment to be good for gpu cooling lol

So to begin with i bought these few parts to install in my case which where a 140mm & 180mm silverstone air penatrator's plus a 140mm hole saw and some mx4 for the gpus

I want to mount it on the back of the outside off my case where the rad is here

But 1st ill have to space my rad more to allow clearance for the fan as they are mount with this brackets atm

And these are the bits ill use to space it more M4 screw + nut and a big washer to silence the noise for the fans virabtion all got from wickes lol

To do this iam going to need to drill the rad, que the BHP451 :D this is a beast as you will see later

On my 1st hole i slip and drilled the rad gutted ! :( so decided to carry on and ordered PA120.4 so it seemed an upgrade and wasnt so heart broken :o

And here it is on its new mountings

Time to see if the fan will fit and what do you know ...... Likeeee aaaa gloooooveee !

Once it was in position i marked it ready for drilling and removed the rad and all componants

Bring on the Beast

The hole took less the 30 seconds and look at how clean that is was hardly any filling needed most pleased :D

Now to do the mounting holes and get it fixed and get the componants back in

This is my favriote picture looks a bit like a v6 manifold :D

Now to re-apply the TIM on the GPU's was really impressed with how the coolers came apart well designed for re-apply TIM

Fermi Porn :D

All most there just the gpus to put back in and tube up

Just waiting on the PA120.4 but all wired and ready with the leaky .3

Finally finished ready for leak testing the PA120.4 it is a beast off a rad made my .3 look small

And back in its place ready for Shift 2 :D hope you enjoyed reading through my little mod sorry it isnt very well detailed as done it once took me ages and then deleted by mistake  but iam glad to report that the temps droped from about 91 degrees @82% to 75 degrees @76% with custom fan profile much better now :D many thanks again for reading

I love the rad it looks like a humongous jet engine on the back of that case.

BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE RESIZE YOUR PICTURES!!! Lol...please :p.

(it would make them less blurry too)

there push and pull as there are 3 ac ryan's on the front and only 140mm fan at the back off it to allow airflow for the gpu's

resized the pictures aswell to 15 to make them easier to view ;)

Love the build mate!

I would change the fans to some nice Black ones to keep in with the build.

I would also run the tubing to the rad a bit differently. I would have them behind the radiator and come over the top instead of them going round the side. But just my opinion!

Good build mate :)

Cheers mate :D

And i cant route the tubes that was as there isnt enough space behind the mother board and it would be nightmare to pump but i am gonna change the fans soon as the noise they give off it annoying me now i was a quite rig so might get 4x silverston AP120's the same colour as the 140mm i put in as i am fed up off the bright led's aswell lol

just want a change i guess lol

Ah right, fair enough mate :)

Could you turn the radiator upside down and have the tubes running underneath? Mind you, you would have to change the brackets on the radiator and would probably be more hassle then its worth!

Sounds like a good plan with the fans mate :D

That could be a good idea that never thought off it with the 120.4 as the bend was to tight to do it like that with the 120.3 and it would make it easier to bleed as that is a mission in its self with it being a closed loop but it looks so much nicer lol :o

i know i've put a hole in the back of it for a switch to the neon lights but the fan lights have a another 3pin just to power the leds so they dont dim when changing the speed off the fans but there 2000rpm fans and kick up a lot off noise lol

Great build :D Love the w/c setup with the massive engine-like module on the rear of the case :D

cheers mate more to come soon ;) and ill put up a build log of my other WC pc soon :)
