Ivybridge i5 3570K quick test.

Packaging.

The box is the same as a Sandybridge.

The chip/cooler.

Exactly the same as a Sandybridge heatsink.

Testing.

CPU-Z reports 77W, the box definitely says 95W

Does the stock cooler keep it okay temps at stock? Little headroom though I guess?

15mins of Prime95 at stock etc, Antec Kuhler920 = 38C average

Idle is around 21C

In the SuperPI test's, the SB is at 3.4 and IB at 3.8, did you notice that?

Yep, the turbo jumps around a bit.

Just run 1M and 2M PI, the speed CPU-Z reports are 3.8-3.6-3.7-3.6-3.7 etc whilst the tests are happening
